We have carefully combined line-breeding of Doc's Freckles Oak, Hollywood Return and Doc O'Lena with the addition of Doc's Yakoon, Hill King Bars, King's Gaiety and 2 crosses of Dell Mingo to produce HR Hollywood Art.  Although bred to work cattle he has not had the opportunity due to injury.  Art has the traditional calm and friendly quarter horse temperament so is a pleasure to handle and has excellent conformation and athletic ability.  His sire, Hollywood Oak and his dam's sire, Buc Freckles are both winning campdrafters and he has many top cutting horses in his breeding, such as Hollywood Star who won 14 out of 17 cuttings in 1977 alone.

The Docs Freckles Oak/Hollywood Return cross has been proven most successful by horses such as Oaks Stardust, Oaks Serene, Docs Happy Return, Bakers Hollywood Oak, Oaks Holly Gold, Mabo and Sherman Oak.  We are happy to say that Art has 2 crosses of Docs Freckles Oak and 2 crosses of Hollywood Return.
